2FA, or 2-Factor Authentication, adds an extra layer of security to your account. Even if someone knows your password, they cannot log in without the one-time code generated by your authenticator app.
How to Set Up 2FA
Step 1 – Start setup
You’ll be periodically reminded to set up 2FA when logging in. You can also start setup anytime from Security Settings.
Step 2 – Install an authenticator app
Download an authenticator app from your device’s app store (e.g., Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator).
Step 3 – Connect the app
Tap Get Started in PFP to display a QR code. Scan this into your authenticator app.
Step 4 – Verify the code
Enter the code generated by your app into PFP and tap Verify.
Step 5 – Save your recovery codes
Copy the recovery codes to a safe place. These are needed if you ever lose access to your authenticator. You can also access them later in Security Settings, but only if your authenticator app is still active.
How to Use 2FA When Logging In
After setup, you’ll be prompted for a one-time code from your authenticator app each time you log in. Enter the code to access your account.
To stop using 2FA, visit Security Settings and follow the instructions.
What is my Personal Finance Portal?
Your Personal Finance Portal (PFP) is a secure online space where you can view documents, message your adviser and keep your financial information together in one place.
Your Profile is where you can view and manage the personal and financial information we hold about you. You can update your details at any time and, with their consent, add or update information about your partner or spouse.
Your information is organised into different sections. A tick shows when a section is complete. Some sections will guide you through a series of screens, with dots showing your progress and highlighting anything that still needs to be completed.
About You
View and update your personal details, including your name, date of birth and marital status. You can also add a profile picture to personalise your account.
Select Review your answers at any time to see all your personal information together.
Your Family
Add details about your partner or spouse and any dependants, such as children or anyone else who relies on you financially.
You should only add or update another person’s information if you have their consent. Some relationships may already be recorded. If any of these need changing, please speak to your adviser.
Once everything is up to date, select Yes to confirm the section is complete.
Employment
Add details of your current employment status and income, as well as those of your partner or spouse where relevant. You can also add details of previous employment if needed.
Your Home
Add your current address and address history. If you own your home, you can also record its estimated value as part of your assets.
Contact Details
Keep your phone numbers, email address and other contact details up to date. You can also choose your preferred contact method so your adviser knows the best way to get in touch.
Your Finances
Your Finances is where you can build and maintain a detailed picture of your financial circumstances. Keeping this information up to date helps your adviser understand your current position and provide advice based on the information you have provided.
Assets & Liabilities - Review and update details of your savings, investments, pensions, protection policies and debts. Once everything is up to date, select Yes to confirm the section is complete.
Income - Record your income, your partner’s or spouse’s income and any income you receive jointly. Select Yes once you have added all relevant income.
Expenditure- Add details of your regular spending across the available categories. You can include your own, your partner’s or spouse’s, and any joint expenditure where relevant. Select Yes when you are happy that everything has been included.
Attitude to Risk (ATR) - Complete your Attitude to Risk questionnaire to help us understand how comfortable you are with taking investment risk. Follow the on-screen questions and prompts to complete the questionnaire. If you need any help or believe you have entered something incorrectly, please contact your adviser.
Your Portfolio brings your financial position together in one place, giving you an easy-to-understand view of your assets, liabilities and overall net worth. You can also use the portfolio graph to see how your financial position has changed over time.
Assets & Liabilities
Your assets can include:
Current accounts and savings
Investments and pensions
Property
Other valuable items, such as vehicles, art or collectibles
Your liabilities can include:

Loans
Protection plans, such as life cover, are not included when calculating your net worth.
Broadly speaking, Net Worth = Total Assets − Total Liabilities
Graphs & Filters
Your Portfolio graph helps you see how the value of your assets, liabilities and net worth has changed over time. Your net worth is shown as a dotted line.
You can tailor the information displayed using the available filters:
- Account Categories – choose which types of assets and liabilities you want to see.
- View Range – choose the period you want the graph to cover, from three months up to three years.

Select any category in the table or graph to see a more detailed breakdown.
Yes. Keeping your information safe is important to us.
Your Personal Finance Portal uses secure technology to help protect your information.
It's a safe place to store, view, sign and download important documents whenever you need them.
Only the information you choose to share. If you decide to pre-populate information ahead of a meeting, your adviser will be able to view those details to help prepare. For documents you upload to the portal, you remain in control and can choose whether your adviser can access them.
The Documents section lets you view, upload, download, share, and sign documents securely with your adviser.
Your Documents vs Adviser Documents
- Your Documents: Files you upload yourself. You have 200MB of storage for your documents.
- Adviser Documents: Files uploaded by your adviser. These do not count toward your storage limit.
You can download any adviser document, but only your adviser can delete them.
