    Handling the finances when you've lost someone can feel daunting and distressing, so we're here to make things as simple as they can be.

    The first step is to let us know.

    Lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We may record or monitor calls.

    When you call, we'll guide you through everything, step by step. It'll be helpful if you can have some information to hand:

    • National Insurance number
    • A payment or policy number
    • The full name, date of birth, address and the date of passing of the person who has died
    • The name of the person we should send any documentation to.
