Introducing our Energy Saver Cashback offer
We're rewarding customers who are using their drawdown facility to make energy efficient home improvements.
Making these type of improvements not only contributes to a more positive impact on the environment, but it can also help to cut the cost of fuel bills and help make the home feel warmer and more comfortable.
You can claim up to £200 cashback (up to a maximum of three times) when you use your drawdown to make energy efficient improvements to your home.
Eligibility and how it works
Who is eligible for the offer?
This offer is available to Legal & General Lifetime Mortgage customers across England, Scotland and Wales. You must claim the cashback within 12 months of receiving your drawdown funds. The offer applies to a maximum of three drawdowns.
Examples of qualifying energy efficient improvements include:
- Double or triple glazing including installation of external energy efficient doors
- Flat roof insulation
- Loft insulation
- Floor insulation
- Cavity wall insulation
- Solid wall insulation
- Ground source heat pump
- Air source heat pump
- Solar thermal
- Heating controls
- Wood-fuelled boiler (Biomass Systems)
- Draught stripping
How do I claim the cashback?
It's simple to claim your cashback. When you've received your drawdown and are ready to start the works you'll need to:
Instruct the works on your property. You should keep all the invoices, receipts and relevant certificates to confirm the work has been carried out.
Claim your cashback directly from Legal & General Home Finance. You must claim your cashback within 12 months of the completion of your drawdown. You'll receive your cashback within 30 days, once we have received and accepted your claim.
