Mike is the Managing Director for our Lifetime Mortgages business and Product & Strategy Director for Retail Retirement. His role sits at the heart of L&G’s retirement strategy, making sure that our customers take a holistic approach to retirement planning.
Mike has an overarching responsibility for driving the long-term growth of our Lifetime Mortgage business, as well as the strategy and all elements of product lifecycle management for our Retail Annuities and Care Concierge propositions.
Joining L&G in 2017, he has grown several business areas including Home Finance and Financial Advice, where he remains a Board member. He’s passionate about solving real retirement challenges for customers and helping them build adequate savings for the future.
Growing up in Hull, he moved down to Birmingham to study Maths and Economics at University, before qualifying as an accountant at PwC. Mike lives in Solihull with his wife, daughter and two cats. A fan of sports, when he’s not cheering on Liverpool you’ll find him at a squash court or playing a round of golf at the weekend.
