John has led the technical and regulatory team that supports L&G’s Retail Annuities business since 2019. He and the team make sure that all our annuity-related products and services, plus our Lifetime Care Plan, always stay in line with all relevant regulations.
Throughout his more than thirty-five years in financial services, John’s always been driven by a strong need to do right by each and every customer. He looks to help people make the best choices when choosing financial products and then have a clear understanding of them once they’re up and running. L&G’s inclusive, supportive culture has helped him explore new ways of doing so which wouldn’t have been possible elsewhere.
John joined us in 2017 as a technical and regulatory manager. That followed a range of product, development and adviser roles at Fidelity International, Zurich Financial Services, Vertex Data Science and Lincoln Financial Group. His financial services career began back in 1989 at Eagle Star.
He’s currently complementing his financial and regulatory expertise by studying for a Level 7 Apprenticeship in Leadership and Management. He lives in Gloucestershire, where he enjoys countryside walks, supporting Gloucester’s excellent rugby team and celebrating their many victories in his local.
