Joe manages our three guaranteed income retirement pension products – our Fixed Term and Cash-Out Retirement Plans, and our Pension Annuity. He makes sure they offer everything our customers need, are competitive in the marketplace and meet all relevant risk and regulatory requirements.
He’s been with Legal & General since April 2019, when he joined us as a Product Manager. That followed a three-year stint as an Assistant Third Party Product Manager at the Principality Building Society. There, Joe focused on home insurance, other protection products and funeral plans. He joined them from risk specialist Atradius, which he entered under the Welsh Financial Services Graduate Programme. It lets graduates experience four six-month placements with top Welsh financial services employers.
Joe graduated from Swansea University with a BSc in Business Management, then completed a postgrad MSc in Financial Services Management at the University of South Wales. He now lives and works in Cardiff. He’s a keen supporter of the Welsh national football team and also enjoys annual visits to the Cheltenham Festival, amongst other horse racing highlights.
