If you're redeeming the loan within a three year period of one of the joint account holders moving in to long-term care, the compassionate repayment feature is available, which allows you to repay your lifetime mortgage with no Early Repayment Charge. If you're redeeming where the sole or both customers have moved into long-term care, you can repay the lifetime mortgage with no Early Repayment Charge.
In both of these instances, we require you to complete a long-term care certificate. If you haven't sent this already, you can complete the long-term care form and send it to us via post or email using the following details:

If you’re looking to release more money you could use your Drawdown facility if you have one. If not, and the value of your home has increased sufficiently, you may be able to release more money through a Further Advance. Any further borrowing will be on the same product terms as your existing lifetime mortgage, but the interest rate may be different.
You may be able to transfer your lifetime mortgage to your new home – this is known as Porting.
Examples for change of circumstances;
