What is Life Insurance?
Life Insurance helps you to financially protect your family's future. It could pay out a cash sum if you die while covered by the policy. You choose the amount of life cover you need and how long you need it for and you can pay your premiums monthly or annually. Life Insurance offers reassurance that your family could be protected financially should the worst happen.
What is Over 50s Life Insurance?
Our Over 50s Life Insurance Plan is designed to meet the demands and needs of UK residents aged 50 to 80 who would like to leave a cash sum for their loved ones as a gift or help contribute towards funeral costs. It’s for people who want guaranteed acceptance with a simple application process and would prefer not to answer medical questions. There may be other products available if you want to answer further lifestyle and medical questions.
Can be added for an extra cost when you take out Life Insurance or Decreasing Life Insurance. It could pay out a cash sum if you’re diagnosed with one of the many specified critical illnesses that we cover, such as heart attack, cancer and stroke**.
Help protect the home your family love with mortgage life insurance. Choose Life Insurance where the amount of cover remains the same or Decreasing Life Insurance where the amount of cover decreases in line with the way a repayment mortgage decreases.
Life cover policies are not savings and investment products and have no cash value unless a valid claim is made.
** Some types of cancer are not included and to make a claim for some illnesses, you need to have permanent symptoms.
Why Critical Illness Cover?
Nobody likes to think about the possibility of getting critically ill, but should the worst happen it makes sense to have critical illness cover in place for you and your family. The cash sum pay out could help ease the emotional and financial stress you might feel. It could be used to cover loss of earnings, help with medical treatment or take time off to recover, childcare bills or even a big family holiday to help you recover.
