How much do you need for a happy retirement?

Our latest research shows that you need about £1,700 a month for a happy retirement. Working with the Happiness Research Institute, we’ve found that’s how much the happiest retirees have coming in. It supports everything that makes retirement worthwhile, like good health, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying your favourite hobbies.

You can find out more about our joint research project here. And then you can see if your own savings are on track for that kind of retirement, using the tools and resources on this page.
