Business Quality Awards 2026: Celebrating 15 years of excellence

Highlights of the day included

• Welcome from Vikki Jefferies, Market Development Director, Retail, on the importance of celebrating success
• A keynote address from James Shattock, Managing Director of Protection and Retail Retirement, on how L&G is helping improve people's lives at scale
• A powerful customer conversation with Julie Godley, Distribution Director, Retail Protection and Toni Martin from SBG, that brought to life the real impact of protection when families need support most
• The introduction of the new Best Claims Performance category, recognising firms delivering outstanding claims support
• The first live recording of the Just Covered podcast at the BQAs hosted by Wayne Holcombe, Account Director and Georgia Perkins, Market Development Manager with guest, Nathan Wootton from Waddle and Sidney Wager from L&C Mortgages
• The return of Hero in the Middle, celebrating individuals whose skill, care and commitment make a meaningful difference to customers
