We’ve launched our new ‘value of wellbeing investment’ platform
This month we’re delighted to announce the launch of an exclusive partnership with Fruitful Insights.
Fruitful Insights models and algorithms were designed by Mike Tyler, a well-known name in the employee benefits consultancy world with extensive client experience with roles at Mercer, Buck and more recently Lockton.
This is a new analytical tool that quantifies the impact of employee wellbeing on productivity. It gives your clients with 100 employees or more the insights to design, monitor, manage and communicate a winning workplace wellbeing strategy, supporting a sustainable business.
Our wellbeing barometer research recently found that 8 in 10 employers said that having a good wellbeing strategy in place can bring about key business benefits, yet a quarter had only an ‘informal’ wellbeing plan in place, and just over 1 in 10 didn’t have anything in place at all!
This is where Fruitful Insights can help. It will be provided on a complimentary basis to you as our partner, to help your clients quantify their wellbeing performance, prioritise investment and enhance their organisational effectiveness. It will also provide you with the data and insights to identify areas of unmet needs, and better support your clients drive to achieve improved employee wellbeing. It will also equip employees to take steps to improve their own wellbeing, via personalised reports and signposting.
In summary there are three broad ways in which Fruitful Insights can be used by you.
The first being value-add – you can provide Fruitful Insights to your client, as a value-add from Legal & General, to help your client better shape their wellbeing strategy.
The second is enhanced wellbeing consulting – you can use the insights in conjunction with your client to identify gaps in their wellbeing programmes and align benefits to fully support their strategic wellbeing goals.
And the third is supporting increased retention – The relationship between you and your client is strengthened by more frequent and more meaningful interaction, underpinned by the insights from Fruitful that help elevate health and wellbeing on to the boardroom agenda.
On top of this, you will receive access to a full programme of support, which is being developed over the coming months in response to your requirements. We’ll share more on this soon.
Mike Tyler, Chairman of Fruitful Insights said:
We wanted to partner with a forward-thinking organisation to support Fruitful Insights entry to the market. Legal & General is clearly innovating in the group protection space – including integrated thinking with regards to its wellbeing framework Be Well, Get Better, Be Supported, and also its HR Communication Toolkit – this was a natural fit for us.
There are lots of wellbeing solutions in the marketplace but they’re arguably very siloed. They don’t look at all aspects of wellbeing, from the physical and psychological, to the workplace environment, leadership practices and culture. We’re really excited to bring this capability to all of Legal & General’s intermediaries and clients, whatever their size or stage on the wellbeing journey.”
Colin Fitzgerald, Distribution Director, Fruitful Insights said:
The partnership with Fruitful Insights represents the missing link in our wellbeing proposition. We’ve always instinctively known we were on the right track with our wellbeing philosophy because it’s evidenced in our annual return-to-work data. But being able to tangibly evidence the benefits that brings to business is another thing entirely and something the entire industry has arguably grappled with for a long time. Now, with Fruitful Insights, we can realise that ambition.
The possibilities for intermediaries are huge, in terms of not only being able to help their clients maximise their group income protection programmes, but also to add true value to their workplace wellbeing strategies; reducing inefficiencies and enhancing their clients’ ability to make informed decisions based on real-time data.”
