Broker’s relationship helped family in time of need

A financial hero is someone who goes above and beyond without being asked. Ashley Edwards of Just Mortgages works with one such individual.

“I’ve been working with Liam Coker for many years and he always goes the extra mile for his clients”, says Ashley. She recalls one day when Liam noticed a post on Facebook from one of his clients whose baby son had tragically been stillborn.

Adviser reaches out

Seeing the post, Liam immediately contacted his client to ask whether she was covered for this under the policy she’d taken out a few months ago.  Liam had included critical illness cover for her as she was pregnant.

Ashley continues, “The client had no idea her situation was covered, so was exceptionally grateful to Liam for some sort of financial comfort at a very difficult time for her family”

Empathy with his clients

Having just had twins himself, Liam is passionate about family protection. As Ashley says, “Liam’s empathy levels are very high and if it wasn’t for his passion for client relationships, Liam would probably not have spotted what had happened and been able to help her.”
