How to find your lost and forgotten pensions

If you've moved jobs during your working life, you may have lost track of some of the pension schemes for previous companies you've worked for. You can contact previous employers and pension providers to get the details of these, although this can be time-consuming.

A free pension tracing service is available to Legal & General Pension customers, we can help you find old and forgotten pensions from previous employers, and it only takes about 4 to 16 weeks.

We don’t trace NHS, Local Government or Civil Service defined benefit pensions, which you are not allowed to transfer to a defined contribution pension We also cannot trace overseas pensions.
