We will only share necessary information if there is a reason to do so. Such as if you ask us to, to detect or prevent a crime or if there is benefit to you and your account.

Always check with our website if you think any contact details are fake.
Is marketing fake?
Scammers sometimes send out fake marketing letters or use fake Facebook Ads.
If you are unsure about any Legal & General marketing or adverts, always check the web address and any contact details. They should match what is on our website.
We will never ask you to subscribe or pay a fee for a subscription.
Be careful when sharing your data
We will never ask you to share your details via a public conversation on social media or on WhatsApp.
If we call you to perform verification checks and you feel uneasy about sharing your personal information we will always respect your wishes.
It is your right to refuse to give any further information and end the conversation.
If in doubt contact us directly by searching for our contact details yourself.

Calls: We will always call you from a registered Legal & General number. We will never call you from a mobile phone.
Texts: We don’t use WhatsApp or any other private messaging app.
Social media: We will never contact you using social media unless replying to your enquiry.
